This is not a top ten list, therefore it is not in any kind of order. It may or may not be controversial as some will agree with the choices below, others will not. I do know one thing though; most of these character picks are favourites and known worldwide, so I'd find it hard to believe there is anyone missing. Do send in a comment if I am mistaken; all choices are welcome and will receive at least a special mention.
It would be impossible of course to include every last one of Johnny's characters on this list, though an analysis of them all would be splendid to read (perhaps sometime in the near future). Anyway, enough of all this chit-chat. Time to view and depict the most memorable of Mr. Depp's characters, throughout his whole career as an actor. I hope people will agree with those mentioned, and again, if you feel someone has been missed, please comment with the characters name and your reason as to why they should be on here.

I think this is an excellent list! I’ve almost forgotten what a long history Johnny Depp has in the world of cinematography. I appreciate you taking the time to make this list with the thumbnails, now I definitely have to add a few of these films to my Blockbuster @Home queue. Since they have such a broad selection of titles, I know that I will have no difficulty watching every single one of Depp’s films.
